Moore's two books, Crossing the Chasm and Inside
the Tornado. Mr. Wiefels was also influential in developing
TCG's facilitative consulting model.
Before
Chasm Group
Mr.
Wiefels' unique career background began in the consumer marketing
sector, where he served as an advertising agency account director,
working with packaged goods and financial services clients.
He then transferred this experience to the technology sector,
where he has worked for the past 20 years.
Prior
to joining The Chasm Group LLC, he served as director of marketing
consulting with Landor Associates, the world's largest branding
consultancy. Prior
to Landor, he was worldwide director of product marketing
for Ingres Corporation (now a division of Computer Associates).
Mr. Wiefels began his high tech career with Apple Computer,
where he served in marketing management positions with Apple's
U.S. and international operations.

Base
Mr. Wiefels' global clients are recognized leaders in their
fields and include Adobe, Applied Biosystems, BEA Systems,
Celera Genomics, Extreme Networks, Microsoft and MIPS Technologies.
He serves on the advisory boards of Kintana and Portview Communications
Partners, a European venture capital fund that invests in
the telecommunications sector.
Speaking
and Lecturing
Mr. Wiefels has served as a faculty lecturer in the California
State University system, and has served as a guest lecturer
at Stanford, Santa Clara University and UC Berkeley. In frequent
demand as a keynote speaker to sales, marketing and technology
organizations including Accenture, Microsoft, and SAP, he
also is a regular contributor to a variety of industry publications
in the U.S. and Europe.
Education
Mr. Wiefels earned a bachelor's degree and an MBA from the
University of Southern California.
